This has been the week of illness for us in our house. Illness always means procrastination on my part. I'm ok with this as when I try and do to much, I tend to take longer to get better. This is something I think everybody needs to do on occasions by just taking a break from the world. I believe that once in a while you should just curl up on a sofa under a blanket watching some good films. I know that some people will say that there's too much to do, but that's the main problem. Lets all learn to relax like the spaniel!
What am I working on
Currently working on a pair of socks. The pattern is hermione's everyday socks which I am making with lang yarns jawoll degrade. This was a stash diving exercise completely, the yarn I've had in my box for over a year as I bought it at a show in September 2011 and the pattern I had in my queue on raverly for over 8 months. This is a nice easy pattern, to do anywhere. Wouldn't suggest for a complete beginner to sock knitting as on a couple of occasions it assumes you have knowledge on how to do socks. I will do this pattern in the future, when I'm after a simple sock. I did this on my addi lace and doing it magic loop, which s my favourite technique. Spaniel news
The spaniel is well, he is focusing on his new life that starts at the end of this week. I have been able to take him to work since he was a pup, this is something I am no longer able to do. I am trying to find ways of doing spaniel cam so that I am able to check up on him at work. I'm trying to set up Skype on my iPad so I can make sure he's ok at home, as he's never spent that this much time alone. He will still get his best friend coming to see him (as I have a dog walker) who he loves to bits especially as she comes with her two dogs who he adores. So he should be fine. He will look great on a video camera, as he's loves the camera.
Other news
I have just bought tickets for craft 4 crafters at westpoint arena in devon, looking forward to it and already know one of the stands I going too. Sara's texture crafts are there and I think I may end up with some new batts appearing in my stash, somehow!
I also have bought some new beads from a new shop I discovered, they are blue goldstone, which I haven't heard about before but I liked them as they are sparkly and that's the best type
